Following two years away from the spotlight, global superstar Lewis Capaldi returned with a surprise appearance on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage. The Somebody You Loved singer dazzled Glastonbury and has been dubbed a ‘national treasure’ on social media.
“Second time’s a charm on this one,” said Lewis. “I just wanted to come and finish what I couldn’t finish last time.”
Now, he is well and truly back with new single Survive and a string of enormous dates this September in Sheffield, Aberdeen, Glasgow, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham, Cardiff and Dublin. His renewed sense of purpose is demonstrated effortlessly in Survive, proving even in the darkest moments, there’s strength in showing up. For Capaldi, this new era isn’t about surviving, it’s about returning stronger than ever.

Having Glastonbury as your first major show back after two years is an incredible milestone, and marks strongly the progress the artist has made with his Tourette's Syndrome. Survive sees Lewis reunited with close collaborator Romans, who co-wrote his global megahit Someone You Loved, which turned 10x Platinum earlier this year.
The new track arrives off the back of a run of Scottish warm-up shows in May that saw him return to the stage as a guest of mental health charity CALM, in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Week.
Lewis’s success stems back to 2019’s multimillion-selling debut Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent, which propelled Capaldi from bedroom musician to superstar. The follow-up scored him his second UK number 1 album, and prompted the global Netflix documentary in 2023, which delved behind closed doors.
