UK indie-rock four-piece The Ariston have returned this September with ‘Fire’, the lead track from their long-awaited debut EP - a reckless new single about making the wrong decision on purpose and enjoying it.

Where the band's previous singles dealt in aftermath and self-doubt, ‘Fire’ is skipping the regret altogether. The single arrives on the back of a stretch that's seen The Ariston sharpen both their sound and their live reputation.

The London quartet recently finished a busy Summer which included festival appearances, the release of Radio-X supported Honey, I’d Lie To You and a support slot with Catfish & The Bottlemen’s guitarist Billy Bibby.

"'Fire' is about knowingly making the wrong decisions but going through with them anyway because they make you feel alive," says frontman Luca Slade. "Sometimes you know something's going to end badly, but that doesn't necessarily stop you from wanting it. There's something addictive about that feeling."

This is the second of four tracks from The Ariston’s (currently untitled) debut EP, with new music rolling out in the lead-up to Christmas. The highly anticipated debut EP comes after five years of hard graft and marks the first full project as an artist.

The Ariston are celebrating the release of Fire and what’s to come with a huge return to London. Holding more than 250 people, The Dome will be a massive milestone for the band, after headlining 229 and Dingwalls 2 in the past. The venue also holds historical significance, having hosted artists ranging from The White Stripes and Twenty One Pilots to U2 and Florence and the Machine.
