Manchester-hailing The Guest List is gearing up to release their much-anticipated new EP, When The Lights Are Out, now due out on November 7th.

A soaring blend of Radiohead-style drama and Oasis-sized anthemics refracted through a modern lens, the band’s upcoming EP captures a generation’s anxieties in vivid detail.

Ahead of release, the band have dropped single Ruine - a towering track forged on a brooding, Alice in Chains-inspired riff and shot through with the unflinching intensity of Nine Inch Nails’ Closer.

Formed in early 2021, The Guest List came together as school friends and music students, initially bonding over a love of The Strokes. After posting covers on TikTok, they quickly began carving out their own lane with fresh material.

Since then, the five-piece have supported The Wombats, Two Door Cinema Club, Blossoms, Razorlight and The Snuts. They also had their most successful festival run this year, playing Glastonbury, The Great Escape, TRNSMT, Neighbourhood Weekender and many more.

The band will embark on a huge tour to promote the EP, including three sold-out nights at Camden Assembly in London.
