The Black Keys have released a brand-new single, 'You’ve Got To Lose,’ after announcing the new album ‘Peaches!’ due out May 1st. To support the album, the duo will hit the road, travelling North America, Europe and the UK.

Peaches! marks their third in three years, and is their sixth since Let’s Rock in 2019, which concluded the end of the extended hiatus. The lead single was written as Dan Auerbach cared for his late father, who was diagnosed with a stroke and oesophageal cancer.

The album has been impressively recorded live with a full band, and the immediacy of the lead single already sets the precedent for an emotive ten tracks, which include:

  1. Where There’s Smoke, There’s Fire

  2. Stop Arguing Over Me

  3. Who’s Been Foolin’ You

  4. It’s a Dream

  5. Tomorrow Night

  6. You Got To Lose

  7. Tell Me You Love Me

  8. She Does It Right

  9. Fireman Ring the Bell

  10. Nobody But You Baby

Peaches! is available to pre-order now, and you can watch the new single below:

The Black Keys were at the top of their game in 2010 and 2011 with colossal records, Brothers and El Camino, before following it up with the experimental but equally (if not more so) successful Turn Blue in 2014. This success, combined with burnout and personal life changes, however, led to the band entering a period of extended hiatus. Their UK tour planned for 2015 was also cancelled due to Carney’s shoulder injury.

Since returning, and reaching the pinnacle of success, they’ve embedded themselves as a consistent presence, approaching musical life with balance. They’ve also since made it up to UK fans with several arena shows, a three-night residency at O2 Academy Brixton, all of which featured Noel Gallagher and then large outdoor performances last year.

Speaking to NME in 2025, Patrick Carney explained: “We are still just as excited to go into a studio and make a new song today as we were 20 years ago. Maybe even more now because we have more confidence and a broader range of ideas. We’re having fun, but just trying to pace ourselves, though, because this summer tour is probably the absolute max of what we can bite off.”

As part of their new world tour to support Peaches!, they’ll be returning to London over the Summer playing Eventim Apollo (31st August) and O2 Academy Brixton (1st September). You can also catch them at the Victorious Festival in Southsea.

Fans who pre-order the record will be able to access the pre-sale for the London shows.
