London-hailing indie rock band The Ariston, who recently released their biggest track yet, Honey, I’d Lie To You, have announced their return to London. The ones to watch will play downstairs at The Dome on October 2nd (tickets available now).
Holding more than 250 people, this will be a huge show for the band, who have already headlined 229 and Dingwalls 2 in the past. The venue also holds historical significance, having hosted artists ranging from The White Stripes and Twenty One Pilots to U2 and Florence and the Machine.
Ahead of this set, The Ariston still have a string of festival appearances including IOW Festival, Sheffield Fringe (Tramlines) and Guildfest to name a few.
The band reportedly has lots of new music on the way, with fans already enjoying an unreleased track called Fire, which has been road-tested recently.
Their latest single (Honey, I’d Lie To You) has already received support from Radio X, the Official Charts and a nod from ourselves.
Blending raw emotion with driving indie-rock intensity, the track dives headfirst into the aftermath of love that refuses to leave, even long after it’s over. The track explores obsession, memory, and emotional distortion. The band explain:
“Honey, I’d Lie To You explores the feeling of loving someone so hard that even after they’re gone, they still live in the walls of your head, everything is blurry and burning at the edges. The cracks in the ceiling you can’t stop staring at. Where your brain keeps playing you things they never actually said, because the delusion is healthier than the truth could ever be.”
The Ariston have also recently launched a podcast, where they discuss musical opinions and band life, with episode 1 out now. This content is one of several ways the band is continually finding ways to connect with their audience:
