On The Meadow is back for a third year! Taking over Signature Brew (Blackhorse Road) on Sunday, 12th July 2026, the independent festival will bring together a community of artists and music lovers, championing the next wave of talent.

2026 is looking to be bigger and better. Edinburgh’s trailblazers Swim School will be headlining, and throughout the day, you’ll see sets from ARXX, ARTIO, The Rolling People, Tough Cookie, Et Al, The Harbours, and more to be announced.

Swim School wrapped up 2025 with their long-awaited debut record and have been on tour in the UK and Europe since, which included a headline show at The Garage in London. Their fiery and cathartic live shows have made them ones to watch, with a mixture of filthy rock (BORED, Give Me A Reason Why) to ethereal (don’t leave me behind, over now). Their set at On The Meadow isn’t one to be missed, and will be one to remember.

Also high up on the bill is Brighton’s ARXX, who combine crunchy riffs and cutting vocals to create punchy indie pop. With two albums under their belt, their groovy sound will have the festival dancing (and possibly moshing) the night away.

Rising indie band The Rolling People will be delivering classic rock after dropping their third EP, Outlier, which features A Crack In The Glass, a track we’ve spotlighted in recent months. For fans of Oasis, The Verve and The Stone Roses, you’ll enjoy this band.

Elsewhere, The Harbours will be guaranteeing the sunshine with their colourful indie pop inspired by The Kooks, Two Door Cinema Club and notably Viola Beach. In 2026, the Midlands-based band dropped Oatmilk and Wide Awake, tracks which will have you longing for the Summer in seconds.
