Weekly Roundup #84

Welcome to Roundup, showcasing the freshest tunes at the moment.

Another week, another roundup. What are you spinning?

Foundation of Youth / Clapton Road - Tankus

To celebrate the recent announcement of Tankus’ new upcoming album ‘Valley of Distraction’, produced by Jim Sclavunos (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds) they have dropped a double A-side.

For over a decade, the genre-bending group have roared through Europe’s underground music scene. Now, they step into a bold new chapter.

out of luck - eyejust

Dreamy as ever, eyejust (also known as David Clarke) has released his latest track ‘out of luck’. Described as ‘indie pop with washed out vocals’, the single is an intricate earworm. For fans of Her’s, EKKTASY and HighSchool, you’ll love this one.

Guard Dog - Snooper

Guard Dog is the second track from Snooper’s upcoming album “Worldwide” out on the 3rd of October via Jack White’s Third Man Records. It’s punchy, chaotic and a blast to listen to.

Vocalist Blair Tramel describes it as “about growth… the discomfort of feeling too comfortable, second-guessing yourself, and learning how to use your voice - but mostly about having fun.”

Man I Need - Olivia Dean

Multi-BRIT Award and Mercury Prize nominee Olivia Dean has released the third single from her brand new upcoming record, “Man I Need”.

It’s overwhelmingly positive and focuses on her more soulful side, as anticipation grows even further for September 2025.

Soak - Black Honey

If you haven’t been streaming Black Honey’s latest record Soak since its recent release, what have you been doing? Cinematic and reflective as ever, the four-piece indie band have gone to town on this one. The title track ‘Soak’ is one to dig your teeth into first, before letting the rest consume you.
