Weekly Roundup #68

Welcome to Roundup, showcasing the freshest tunes at the moment.

Another week, another roundup. What are you spinning?

Angel Of Mine - Odhran Murphy

He’s playing Camden Assembly (13th May), he’s one-to-watch and he’s got a hotly tipped debut EP on the horizon. It’s Odhran Murphy, Northern Ireland’s exciting rising star. Murphy’s latest track Angel of Mine is a beautiful blend of country and folk.

wide open - SAYITAGAIN

SAYITAGAIN, the London-based duo, have followed their fantastic single ‘curtains’ with bold new track ‘wide open’. The song has been described as a ‘sharp, emotionally charged indie anthem’ and sets the precedent for their signature sound.

The Middle - Vistas

Indie royalty Vistas are back ahead of the Summer with The Middle, showcasing a bolder sound than ever. The Scotland-based trio rose to notoriety with their early string of EPS, which formed a strong debut in 2020, and have been progressing their sound incrementally since. The Middle is immediate, addictive and still carries the same Vistas charm. It’s getting us excited for what’s next for the band.

Shivers - The Royston Club

The Royston Club proved they are already masters of penning timeless indie melodies when they released Shaking Hips & Crashing Cars. As they begin to enter their new era, latest track Shivers shows that the boys are at their best again - scrumptious riffs, pounding drums and anthem-fuelled lyrics. While not a dramatic jump sonically, the band doubles down on their debut sound.

Who’s There To Love Without You? - Picture Parlour

Picture Parlour have quickly differentiated themselves from the crowded indie market, through distinctive vocals, unique riffs and standout live performances. In fact, they’ve just finished an intimate run with Black Honey. Their new single embodies everything that makes them a hot new band to keep your eyes peeled for.
