Pomona Poised To Release Debut EP (Music News)

Manchester-based rock band Pomona are poised to release their debut EP, Nothing At All, on 12th September. Marking an important new chapter for the band, the four-track collection is a collision of sharpened edges, emotional weight, and relentless momentum.

Formed in 2023, Pomona stitched themselves together from across the UK, assembling through Facebook groups and pedal swaps, united only by a desire to create something raw and real. The band have since called Manchester home, one of the most musically rich cities in the UK, home to Oasis, Joy Division, The Stone Roses and many more.

The band have earned early praise from BBC Introducing and Radio X, their new EP brings together their chaotic and fiery live sound. Lead singer Joe Boxall describes Nothing at All:

“This EP is about frustration in all its forms - personal, political, and emotional. Each track tackles a different side of it, from quiet struggles to louder battles. For us, Nothing at All is both a release and a statement, capturing the energy of where Pomona are right now.”
