Weekly Roundup #76

Welcome to Roundup, showcasing the freshest tunes at the moment.

Another week, another roundup. What are you spinning?

Yellow Bike - Hard Life

Murray navigates the age-old tale of falling for a friend on their latest track from onion. “There's that constant tug-of-war between wanting to protect the friendship and dealing with the fragile ego that fears rejection.” The new single is huge and sits nicely next to othello and OGRE. Their new album is scheduled for release on July 18, 2025.

time to go - Loyle Carner

Last week, Loyle Carner dropped one of his most honest records to date. One of our favourites is time to go, as the artist navigates self identity.

we never dated - sombr

New track we never dated tells the story of a ‘what could have been’ scenario where a bond so intense never formed into something more intimate. Told in an unbelievably melodic way, this track makes you want to dance instead.

The Jamie Oliver Petrol Station - CMAT

CMAT has released the third single from her upcoming album Euro Country, due out August 29th, an ode to Jamie Oliver. Full of CMAT charm and indie rock and lyrics which could’ve held its own in the early 00’s: “OK, don’t be a bitch / The man’s got kids / And they wouldn’t like this…”

Ghosts - YUNGBLUD

IDOLS is one of YUNGBLUD’s greatest efforts, and it’s only part I of a wider double album. The record takes us through a much more mature perspective on the world, and Harrison wears his heart on his sleeve. One of our favourites, outside of the singles, is Ghosts, which is a staggering track.
