Weekly Roundup #106

Welcome to Roundup, showcasing the freshest tunes at the moment.

Another week, another roundup. What are you spinning?

Opening Night - Arctic Monkeys

Arctic Monkeys have returned with their first new music since 2022 to spearhead War Child’s Help 2 project, bringing together artists to raise funds for helping children in conflicts. It’s a fantastic track, and a moment to remember why we love the band. This is, however, not the start of the album campaign, with Helders mentioning in a recent interview that they came together just for this cause.

For Fans Of: Queens Of The Stone Age, David Bowie

Aperture - Harry Styles

Harry Styles is back with a brand-new single, inspired by LCD Soundsystem, and an enormous wave of tour dates on the horizon, including 30 nights at Madison Square Garden and 6 nights at Wembley. Fun fact: Wolf Alice’s lead vocalist makes an appearance on backing vocals, too.

For Fans Of: Jamie XX, LCD Soundsystem

To Love Somebody - Holly Humberstone

Holly Humberstone is gearing up for her latest record, Cruel World, with a second single To Love Somebody. Her new direction is showing a brighter, more optimistic, and more magical side to the rising singer who’s known for her emotional music.

For Fans Of: Billie Eilish, Clairo

Union Station - Overpass

The wait is finally over. Birmingham-based band Overpass are due to drop their debut record in June. Lead single Union Station, which was road-tested on a support tour with The Amazons, is larger than life and shows the quartet putting their feet fully on the gas for this big moment.

For Fans Of: The Royston Club, Inhaler

I Like You - Cardinals
